She Talk – Water – Thinking in Systems

Water is the source of life a death for humans, this She Talks will explore the systemic and foundational role of water in our lives.

The BPW International’s Theme for 2017-2020 is “Empowering Women to Realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).” Two of the 17 SDGs explicitly mention water (#6: Clean water and sanitation and #14: Life below water), but sustainable water management has implications for reaching all of the goals. Water should be considered in almost all cases of development.

This She Talks will explore the systemic and foundational role of water in our lives, and the risks mismanagement of water resources poses to our livelihoods and communities, featuring examples in the U.S.
