Each year, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence begin on 25 November, the International Day against Violence against Women, and end on 10 December, Human Rights Day.
The initiative was started by women's rights activists at the 1991 Women's Global Leadership Institute, and is coordinated each year by the Center for Women's Global Leadership.
Individuals and organizations use it to call for prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls throughout the world
NFBPWC is joining and contributing to the campaign by organizing a panel discussion on Gender-Based Violence. NFBPWC-NYC aim to increase awareness, promote advocacy, and create opportunities for discussion about challenges and solutions to Gender-Based Violence! Specially, violence against women and girls around the world.
We have 4 panelists who have had their own experience with the issue and would be sharing their experience and knowledge.
It is free. Join us, help us enrich our thinking! Share this invitation far and wide please.
